Since March 2021, ITL Aviation (Viet Air Consol – VAC team) has cooperated with Vietnam Airlines launching two regular Charter routes from Hanoi to Delhi, India (HAN – DEL) and from Hanoi to Moscow, Russia (HAN – SVO) with the flight frequency of 1 flight/week, the flight frequency will increase in the upcoming period.
The first two Charter flights with the flight numbers of VN5025 (HAN – DEL) and VN5063 (HAN – SVO) successfully transported more than 60 tons of cargos to India and Russia on March 5th,2021.
With launching the two new routes in March 2021, VAC team has increased the total numbers of Charter flights to 5 flights/week, including:
• 3 flights to Bangkok, Thailand (HAN – BKK)
• 1 flight to Delhi, India (HAN – DEL)
• 1 flight to Moscow, Russia (HAN – SVO)
In particular, for these two new Charter routes to India and Russia, VAC team will take care both loading cargo in the passenger aircraft cabin and in the cargo cabin to optimize cargo load efficiency of the Charter.
Opening the two new Charter routes has marked the first time when VAC team cooperates with the foreign partners to sell round trip HAN – DEL & DEL – HAN and consolidating goods from Ho Chi Minh city and neighboring airports in Asia to transship goods to Noi Bai international airport and transporting goods to other airports in Russia and India at the same time.
There were certain difficulties and obstacles during initial planning prior to kick off for VAC team, but with the great efforts and the spirit of “No Pain No Gain” DNA, VAC team has worked very hard and closely to make plan and effective business strategies to be able to optimize the load and achieve revenue of the Charter flights.
Cooperating with Vietnam Airlines to launch the two new Charter routes to India and Russia is very important to VAC team in particular and to ITL Aviation division in general in this period. Not only expanding VAC’s operating market in the period of air freight seriously affected by the N-covid pandemic and enhancing ITL Aviation’s position in the air freight market in Vietnam, but also demonstrating ITL Aviation team to step out of the comfort zone, seizing the opportunities to promote the solutions of the Charter flights to meet customers’ freight needs in this period, solving the difficulties of air cargo transportation that the market is facing.
In the complicated context of the N-covid pandemic, ITL Aviation continues to cooperate closely with Vietnam Airlines to survey and launch new routes that will bring optimized solutions to our customers.
